I was around and we had a TV for the 48 Olympics and you can't imaging how uplifing something like this can be for a nation's morale.

All Level 5ers need this at the moment.

Only silent as not a popular opinion with other people who tell us that we are wrong.

How about this Brunob!

Out of x number of people with mobile phones in the UK x% voted for bringing the Olympics to London.

Only problem is how many of the y% balance of the mobile owners who didn't vote are against the bid, how many are just apathetic and how many don't even know they can vote this way?




With no access to an equal vote how do you know who is the minority?

Wouldn't mind seeing the great drug festival come to London, except that I will probably be paying for it via the council tax for the rest of my life. Can't really see why it couldn't be funded out of the bottomless money pit governments always discover when they decide to embark on things like Blair's Iraq adventure.

 

How about holding the Olympic Football Tournament at a purpose built stadium in Romford? I am sure we could find a local club who would be willing to make use of the facilities before and after the event.
