Reserves last night

We won and got though to the final of the reserve cup and now will play Chesham United away.

we won 4-3 great game we went 1-0 up though Sam Groombridge then they scored. Nick Harrhy scores from the penalty spot for 2-1. Then they scored, 2-2 at half time i think.

We then took the lead though Ben Surey, they then equalised with about 10 minutes left. But Sam Groombridge got the winner 4/5 minutes from time.

a great save from our keeper Sam Briggs kept us in it at the end and Yinka Salaam kicked off the line with a minute to go.

overall a great game and now though to the final, well done boys.

 

bad news is Lee Gledhill went off about 20 minutes into the game and could be out for about 3-4 weeks, wasnt the happiest of people.

 

1st teamers were Lee Gledhill, Moussa Sidibe who got in a little fight, Ben Surey, James Pinnock and Nick Harrhy with Luke Moore coming off the bench.

No back-up for Proths on Saturday by the look of things - with a squad of our size these problems are always going to present themselves, I suppose.

Surey scored?? Is that his first goal for Fleet in either reserves or first team? Might do his confidence a bit of good.
