See my post on subject "Stadium update" page 2 and you will see that I am in agreement with you Geoff wholeheartedly.

As for thrashing out I think both TONES will be doing a thrashing out out of order if we were to get to the table. Thrashing out at someone anyway. Just kiddin SE Just kiddin.

Agree. We should back Mr.Levers plans and back him and have full faith in him like he has shown towards us and the club and directors. He deserves our backing for his plans and for a healthier future for the club. We should not leave it as it is. Is this meeting definately ON next tuesday or is it not. Can we have some confirmation on this please just in case. Of course,as you say Tone others would have to want to be in on it as well and agree else it wouldnt be worth it. If we did this it would have to be o.k.d immediately and be attended by even MORE than before. Something to chew over but as with all else time for that even is not on our side. Maybe some would just be happy with what we are getting but I strongly believe that Mr. Lever deserves better from us than to just accept his kind offer of a new ground. Its not my decision but everyones decision. Without their co-operation it wont work or come to fruition. I dont mind setting it up as before. Mind you it didnt seem to work before though I do think it gave us time. Maybe worth a try again.

But somehow I dont think the response will be there this time because though we have a ground to return to and its been gifted to us getting the ground back may be enough for some.

The spirit in Margate fans has already been proven to you. I think that everyone wants to go the full mile. Only loyal and true fans remain with us and all of these know what has been happening to margate for the past few years, so nobody wil settle for the first stage. Any way we need the the full mile otherwise the same situation will re-occur if we ever get back to the Conference.

Now I ve read this Im a little more optimistic than in previous post. A couple of things I noticed though.

"I don't really know what the club are planning, all we want is to see football back at Hartsdown - let's just get the stadium built," he said.

Isn't that what many of us have been saying for a while now.

"We don't have a planning issue with the stadium."

Why couldnt you have told us this so the club could have got on with building it

This last bit makes me wonder how up to date this is

Margate have been playing home games at Dover Athletic's ground

Sorry if that doesnt make sense im half asleep
