well done to alex for proving himself to be able to move upwards, i am proud to know that i have seen a player of his quality play and im sure he will be sorely missed.

but now we have to look to the future and make sure the club can move on from it, and push hard to show him what he has left behind, be in a decent finish in one of the cups, winner or otherwise, or a decent league finish.

Yeah, but who wouldn't be able to turn down that much money and more or less play professional football. And after going to their club a few weeks back i'd definetly say that Eastleigh are a club on the way up.

It is a massive loss, but Eddie and Mickey seem to do wonders with players, so lets wait and see what's round the corner before we slit our wrists!

Haddow came off the bench tonight for Eastleigh in the second half and helped them to a 3-0 win over localish rivals Salisbury.

for a full time £750 a week contract they could call me Shirley for all I care. There's barely any loyalty left in the game as it is and after all Alex has been through trying to make it, he deserves it. I just wish it had been someone higher up the pyramid

In the real world which one of us would turn down silly money to a job we love. Its a real shame he's gone but he has so we need to get over it. Don't start slagging him off just because he's done what we would all of done.

Id be gone in a flash. I was just saying anonymous had a point. On the other hand, money

runs virtually EVERYTHING that happens in our lives, directly or indirectly. Some on here were naieve to expect loyalty. Its a shame he didnt go to a 'bigger' club tho'
