According to the unofficial eastleigh forum and website, Alex has signed a two and a half year contract with them:

BREAKING NEWS.....BREAKING NEWS....

Alex Haddow has signed a 2 1/2 yr deal but he will only be on the

bench against Salisbury on Wednesday as Dozzie doesn't want to fix

what ain't broke after Saturday. (Eastleigh Forum)

Tonight KO 7:45 EFC vs Salisbury!

Derby day as Eastleigh welcome Salisbury to the Sparshatts Stadium tonight! Eastleigh placed 5th in the table, will have high hopes of a good result after a promising win over Staines last Saturday! Salisbury resting top of the relagation places, will be looking for a very welcomed win to help release their relegation worries! New signing Alex Haddow could feature for EFC and ex EFC striker Robbie Matthews returns as a Salisbury player! Should be a very exciting game and great atmosphere! COME ON YOU LANERS!!(Eastleigh website)

Anyone heard anything about this?

The unofficial site is run by 10 year olds!!!!(Well thats what we whites think when you read the standard of their website)

For their to be no official announcements by your guys or by Eastleigh says that he may not have signed I would guess. The unofficial site always spurts BULL!

They were a little bit older than 10 but not much when we thrashed them a few weeks back. The kids with the drums do make a reasonable amount of noise but weren't exactly clued up when it comes to banter. Even the linesman was laughing at them when we started chanting '9 dads, you've only got 9 dads' at them. Best of luck tonight Futch.

We need more than luck..........we need a Derby Day Dream!!!!!

Like the "only got 9 dads though".

If it wasn't at Eastleigh (as no one wants to put money into their till!) I'd say come and join us and become honary whites for the night!

The only problem with joining the Whites is it could be both our teams in the relegation dogfight at the end of the season. While I'd like to see Salisbury survive at this level as you're a decent club with good supporters, I don't want it to be at Slough's expense. A win for your boys tonight leaves us just a point above the relegation zone and with a couple more cup games coming up to delay our league fixtures, that could put us in a rather unhealthy position.

Still, I appreciate the offer.

Well pass on a message to Eastleigh for us:

"Thanks for pinching one of our best players and you got him for nothing. The STFC Coaching team have done a lot with him and helped him develop and it seems completely wrong that you didn't have to pay a cent.

Not even a gesture, and from a club that's rolling in it according to one of your fans on our site. Generous or what! And remember it's on the strength of his form with Slough that gets him to the Cup Final, not Eastleigh"

I'm sure we'll be singing a few songs along that line tonight! - Maybe not those words, but I'm sure they will get the message that we all hate them and hope they go bankrupt real soon
