RYM: HT Yeading 0-0 Wealdstone

RYM: HT Hampton & Richmond 2-1 Cheshunt

RYM: HT Tonbridge Angels 1-1 Folkestone Invicta

RYM: HT Northwood 0-0 Harrow Borough

RYM: HT Hendon 0-0 Chelmsford

Apparently we're losing in the ETT (what, that old thing <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ) We've got 4 first team squad players out there, Armstrong, Wareham, Kerrigan and Forbes. My man on the spot tells me C*nv*y have a strong line up.

Think Kingy wants some of his players to prove themselves after Saturday's poor performance. Not surprised he has played a strong line up. Would have been there tonight but still recovering from a massive hangover!!

What a poxy excuse after telling us and the Echo that U lot would field a "reserve" side. Must be really proud of yourselves beating a U 18's side (with 3 or 4 first teamers) 5 - 0. That compitition must mean a lot to you lot....

The competition means sod all but if the players are not proving their worth on the pitch and King needs to sort out the wheat from the chaff then playing them in a competitive fixture like this is far more fulfilling than playing them in a reserve match.

I don't speak for the club so I've no idea why they told you guys they would field a reserve side. Knowing the Echo they probably got it wrong anyway.

Cmon Gazza - Freedom of the Press and all that, when have you ever known the press to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. If the Cup meant so much to the Basilricay why play only 5 first teamers???

What were the remainder then youth players or fringe players, or are you a journalist in disguise by telling me they were youth!! they didn't look too young to me..

Just for the record. The side was: Chris Wayman, Ben Vincent, Tony Limbrick, Danny Kerrigan, Rob Swaine, Ben Atkins, Steve Forbes, John Simmons, Ross Wareham, Paul Armstrong (Tom Poole), Mark Mariner. Subs: Lee Mason, Peter Stratton, Peter Williams

A spirited display, some sloppy passing in the first half but second 45 was alot better. Tom Poole denied a goal by the lino's dubious offside decision.
