I didn't know the legendary Chinese Goalkeeper Andy Lomas played for you... A true legend (well for chesh at least).

 

As for Jimmy King, don't rememeber him, but from that photo, I know I was certainly at that game.

Lomas played for us in our Trophy season - 98/99.

 

I see Minter's still pulling in the votes - must be a lot of over 90's who read this forum.

 

Lenny Piper is spelt with a 'Y', by the way!

 

And why oh WHY are people voting for that Judas money-grabber Tony Roberts in goal??

1. Don't know who took the photographs, or even who sent most of them in, otherwise they would get the credit.

 

2. I'll check the spelling - already changed a couple (Webbo!)

 

3. Think Lomas only came in late that season, remember him swinging on the crossbar at Dagenham after our Trophy win.

 

4. I'll second the remark about Roberts, didn't think he was that good either.

I believe he was with us the whole season as cover - Lomas, that is. Hill just got a bit pissed off with Tubbsy as he was sent off three times and made Lomas first choice.

 

Crossbar swinging was home against Boston, I think!

Lomas came on as sub against the Daggers and remained in the team.

John took the Jimmy King one and as I can't get on the site at the mo I can't say which other ones.

Lomas - top bloke & Zeal you're right it was after the Boston game.

 

Roberts - was just about money after Dowie went.

 

Tubbsy - my fondest memory is all those red cards - hilarious! "AWAYEEEE"

I only remember "say no to secret touches" which I think was Westwood.

I seem to rememeber Cockrams being funny!
