Fantastic book about an anciant sect gaurding a secret that Jesus and Mary married had kids and all that sort of thing. Leonardo was a member of the sect (Opus Dei) and I think he was even chairman.

Anyway some of his paintings had clues as to the facts about the insestral affair between the two and this book is a novel all about it.

Is it actually going to be made into a film David, or is it all hearsay?

I suspect you mean incestuous, but Jesus and Mary Magdalane were not related, so there was nothing incestuous about their relationship at all.

I agree with Stu M....it seems to be a code for divs!

I have read all of Dan Browns books and there are no references to "Di Vinci" or "DA Vinic" in any of them come to that he never mentions "anciant" sects "gaurding" anything or "insestral" relationships either.

Put the book down Harry and go back to Janet and John.

LOL. Right thats it if you lot continue to take the smurf then I'm just going to have to start making sense. Don't try to change my mind, I've had enough.

And weren't Jesus & Mary Magblahblah related? God got her up the duff and out came Jesus. Didn't you ever pay attention at your kids nativety?

And as for basing your entire beliefs on it, you don't need to read the whole book just chapter 29, then watch the Wicker Man and you shall be a Christian no more. Actually don't watch the Wicker Man all the way through, otherwise you won't know who to believe.

That was Mary, mother of God. Mary Magdalene was altogether different.

It's like saying you and Harry Secombe were one and the same person...

Harry, you are confusing Mary Magdelene (possible prostitute) with the virgin Mary (not a prostitute at all) and it wasn't god who got her "up the duff" she was visited by an angel.

Thats what she told her husband Joseph (if I was a carpenter, I'd screw you to the bed)

Definately an angel.

Probably St Michael........thats what it said on his underpants anyway. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/whistling.gif" alt="" />

Wow you learn something new every day. But then when you didn't pay attention in RE and you'd never heard who she actually was (although I had heard of her) then what can you do? I suppose I may have found out when I got to the end of the book, who she was but it saves me telling people who ask me on the train "excuse whats that book about, I've heard lots about it but is it any good?"

"Well it's about how Jesus married his mum...."
