Arrogant Arsenal (Part 357)

Recommended Posts

from bbc.co.uk...

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has defended his decision to field an entire squad without an English player in the 5-1 win against Crystal Palace.

Wenger fielded the first foreign 16-man squad in English football history because Ashley Cole was ill and Sol Campbell was out injured.

Wenger said: "I didn't know about that until I was told about it.

"I don't look at the passport of people, I look at their quality and their attitude."

Wenger joked: "England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson was here, so who did he watch then? Has he signed for a different country?"

Errr.. Andy Johnson, perhaps? That Routledge fella, maybe?

What an arrogant twat, assuming only Arsenal have players capable of playing at International level.

Jake was there with a load of his mates (Palace fan)

He's taken inspiration from EFM and just started silly chants.

Including United United, We love you Arsenal we do and Arsenal have AIDS.

He said half way through the 2nd half he'd given up watching the game and started intimidating families

Eastside - no, I can honestly say I've never been to Highbury as an away fan (except when Spurs have played there) just to cheer on the other side and abuse the home team.

My teams are Spurs and (to a lesser extent these days) St Albans. They will get my full support. No interest in cheering on any other team. Certainly not if it costs me £30-odd to do so anyway!

Scumsville?
