Great to hear we are going HOME but we must remember the one man who kept us on tenderhooks over the years with his "Blairite" spin (an insult to him I hope). I will never forgive Sandy for the waste of time, effort and money that HE has cost the club, the Council and the people of Thanet.

Great news but work must start immediately if we are to have any chance of retaining conference status for next season. Can we go ahead or do we still have to wait for TDC to issue a statement as the business plan still has to be given the green light. his is not done and dusted yet, I fear.

Wonder if there might be a bit of pre-election thinking here too ? When Sandy gets kicked out after the election in May maybe the new council will be a bit more sympathetic to our cause ? In the meantime we'll have done enough to keep our place in the Conf South.

Congrats from all at Romford FC. I don't know if signing your petition helped, but if it did, then pleased to be of some minor assistance.

Hopefully in three months time, we too will have similar good news on a home of our own after 13 nomadic(ish) years!

Lots of confusion with people outside believing this is a victory that we have been after against the council and their delaying tactics and their refusal to allow us to proceed. Lets get this straight. Us, the fans with our demo's, meetings with Ezekiel,petitions etc have not won ANYTHING! It is purely the offer from our investor a Mr. Gary Lever who has and will be getting us back to our ground. In no way has the council helped us apart from giving permission to re-build over 2 years ago. Getting back to hartsdown has not included the councils help. We, the fans are going home but its not the war that has been won. It has been GIVEN to us by an astute funder who can see the importance of a club in the town,can still see a future return for his outlay, or even just feels for the club as others do. Maybe also just pissed of with the council's attitude and lack of foresight. Somehow,somewhere we,the fans have to continue to fight for what we started out fighting for and thats the approval of the council for the ground and the commercial side of things in all its entirety.We are still, and should be still be looking at ways to get that approval from this council. How?, where?, when?. That has to continue somehow. Maybe not at this moment,lets get the ground started first. But we must re-commence our stand for council approval at some point.

We should be just happy that we are going home no matter how its been achieved and of course we are, but the whole income structure that MR. LEVER has put to the council should not be forgotten and should still be worth fighting for!

Lets face it Mr.Lever has backed us so we should continue with our backing for him.

Firstly, sorry I haven't wrote anything in a while not had a lot to say.

 

Im not going to get to excited just yet beacuase I'm still worried about the Council decision.

 

However we now know that we have an agreement with the development company.

 

All I say now is please TDC give us our planning permission then I will be jumping from the rooftops.
