A new article has today been added at my site in Club info & Stats/Past History-section.

 

Read it here!

 

It's an report from the clubs Annual General Meeting in june 1932.

 

In the report the following line occur:

On behalf of the club, the secretary said he wished to thank the Billericay Thursday Club for their useful co-operation, and also Mr. Reeder, who had kindly lent the ground at New Lodge where wanted.

 

Does this mean that Billericay Town (or the Thursday team) already in the early 30's played at New Lodge? Is that the same place as our ground is now? I know that in the mid- and late 20's the club played at Quilter's Meadow.

 

Anyone know about this?
