Come on Gaz!!! Be serious - how many players, fans and officials do you honestly think are deeply religious in this day and age?! I personally couldn't give a hoot if we played on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Ash Wednesday or Pancake Day, as long as it was right for the team/club. The extra day between games is more important here, and the chance to maximise the crowd numbers.

Although I'm happy with the switch - if only to give us an advantage over Chelmsford - I agree with Gazza's point that good friday is an imortant day for people, even if they are not deeply religious. It is one of those times when a lot of arrangements are made, such as with family etc. Still I guess what better excuse than to bring them all down with you!

as I said, I am quite happy for the change but this does effect people and just because you don't "believe", doesn't mean you "pass off" other peoples beliefs NN or feelings about it. That is a selfish attitude just beacuse you're happy with it.
