Hx Reported for Racism

I think we should just put it all down to good banter which came from both sides and ask the FA not to elaborate but we have investigated thoroughly and our stewards are to keep a watch on the situation.

Would also suggest that Newport officials do likewise and maybe the situation won't get out of proportion.

>>I also understand that she threw a full cup of coke over PM.....(thats assault

It's also a waste of £1.10.

We had the misfortune to sit in the stand at Newport - nice seats, shame about the locals - we had one particularly obnoxious Welsh lady behind us and to our left. In between chain smoking, she gave the referee a non-stop barrage of abuse - on the lines of "your'e a f***ing lesbian bitch". She also called the referee a f***ing pro - I assume pro was short for professional, though I may be wrong.

She occasinally varied the repertoir by encouraging her young son (I assume it was her son - he was about ten years old) to shout out "you're a f**king slut". At the time we assumed it was the local dialect, but, on reflection, we now wonder if it might have been the lady who chucked the coke.

sounds about right daggsy.....

anyway...what option shall we take...

1/ reply politely to the FA

2/ attack wales in its entirety (and nick all the sheep)

3/ attack newport solely (and nick their inbred unpure half english half welsh sheep)

4/ report the newport blazers to the human rights commission in Brussells for selective discrimination against an english football club

5/ join the welsh league so we can do the same thing every week....

6/ admit guilt and send UB down to newport as the sacrificial 'lamb'.....

votes please on 1780 666666...(all calls cost 35 quid a second and will go towards the ken livingstone society of londoners against racism (excluding welsh sheep shaggers) and Grays fans....

On the assumption that you are serious, and that the Newport officials really have made a complaint, we were standing to the right of the Newport supporters for about twenty minutes in the first half - I define Newport supporters as the people in the Newport scarves who were cheering on the away team.

For much of that time, they were hurling vocal abuse at the referee, at the home players, and at the crowd to their left. Their favourite chants were "we shag sheep, we shag sheep, you don't", followed by "we've got money, we've got money, you haven't".

The use of the f*** word was frequent.

There were also a lot of chants about Essex and the inhabitants thereof.

Seems to me a polite reply to the FA is the best response, denying racism, and inviting their officials to come to Hornchurch to watch a match and to draw their own conclusions. And much more to the point, do Newport have any proof of what they are alleging?

yes I was serious Daggys and yes we have sent a letter to the FA...the complaint as I understand it came from the Newport Board. I am very disappointed to say the least over that.

Nonetheless it wil come to nothing I believe but does highlights the dangers of living in an ever increasing politically correct world where racism is a buzz word that sticks...

where does it all end...
