You have recently signed Matty Glynn from us (Brackley Town), he came to Brackley from Flackwell Heath earlier this season.

 

Our loss is very much your gain. He is a skillfull attacking midfielder (central) who made a world of difference to us.

 

Is he likely to be in with a chance of the first team at your place, obviously a much higher standard but would be a shame if he were not playing every week.

 

We had a cup game in which he came on as a sub last Wednesday, after which the manager (Mike Ford) spent over an hour trying to convince him to stay.

 

Money's not short at our place so he must have been offered a few quid to come over.

 

Just hope all the right proceedures with 7 day approaches etc. were followed.

Matty played on Saturday and was subbed about half way through the 2nd half. Had a quietish game, but that's probably due to the fact that he probably doesnt know anyone's name yet!

 

I understand that money was not an issue, he wanted to move for footballing reasons only.

 

seems a nice bloke though.

the club that matty came from tried every trick in the book to stop us serving the seven day notice...

 

we have spoken to TC about it and he is adamant that everything was done correctly...so is the player....but.... we have also received a snide letter from brackley about the issue....

 

if the 'gamekeeper' believes that we have done something wrong...report us to the FA....otherwise fck off and stop bothering us.....whenever we receive a '7 dayer' we immediately release the player if that is what he wants.....

 

by the way..brackley said they didn't have a fax....

BTFC do have a fax, according to league rules however, 7 day notices should be sent in the post and by recorded delivery.

 

We may be a small club, but we do have principles.

 

I am not in authroity at the club in any shape or form so cannot commnet on any letter to the FA, however why you feel the need to resort to abusive language is beyond me (especially if you are a moderator of the site).

 

Are you not able to discuss matters or converse in a civil manner? Very sad
