Daish on Meridian teletext p 475.

Nice article that Liam had to cancel a game of golf with Gordon Strachan after landing the Fleet job. Strachan sent Liam a congratulatory text, but gave him a "hard time" for missing the golf.

It seems that Liam has friends in high places, might come in useful for new loan players or signings. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I used to commute from medway to west drayton, on the m25, a f***ing nightmare. Every time. And that was shift times, so never too much traffic, just a lot of miles.Got to the point where i used to dread getting in the car.

Now live about halfway and am much happier driving to work.

I was never late, but it started to get me down.

Liam might never be late but he may still find it a slog coming to the fleet.

And getting the train is a totally different story, can fall asleep, read a book, look at the other freaks, whereas driving gets boring, quickly. So much so that i invented a game of holding my breath for as many lamposts as i could. trouble was this was dangerous as i used to accelerate wildly to get just one more, and i was probably killing braincells.

i have problems.
