Lloyds bar...

Has the new lloyds bar opened in St. Albans yet? I'm hoping it'll be open in time for when I next get home in march.

 

Pity about England losing in the rugby yesterday-it's hard being an English girl up here when that happens! Still, it was a laugh on saturday when Scotland lost- oh happy day!

Anyone know if the Kaiser Chiefs have an album out yet? Do you reckon their cover of that Kate Bush track will be on it? It's absolute quality!

No they haven' but I've been reliably imformed they are playing a "secret" gig at the Barfly on March 25th (I think)

 

I saw them live last year but was so battered I remember very little, however they are getting sparkling reviews at the moment.

Chubbster, I think it's someone else who have done a Kate Bush cover recently, I'm not sure it was the Kaisers.. I saw them supporting Franz Ferdinand and they seemed a good live act.

 

Anyway, 21st of Feb the single is released and I think it sounds jolly good.. If you have broadband you can download the video for free(greatly reduced quality of course) from their site.

oh yeah, i think you're right actually. It may be the Futureheads I think. Do you know if they've released it or if it's just some random track they've done?

Futureheads have a single out called Hounds of Love, but as I can't remember the Kate Bush version I can't say if it's a cover!
