I may just ask the two who play mainly to cows.

 

Maybe they are the same and fame has just hit them hard (actually probably not as the other Sam and Mark come with rave reviews)

just realised that Sam and Mark should actually of been Sam and Me - doh!

 

The Pipettes are playing at 8.30 so I guess that may rule them out.

S*M*A*S*H have been back together for a few months now, firstly for a one off but are gradually gigging more and have written some new songs.

I think you should go watch nevermore supported by firewind at the underworld camden. Friday 18th of march, only a tenner. DFEINETLY worth it, check em out! What style of music are all of those bands btw? indie?

I saw Sons & Daughters at The ICA supporting I am Kloot, they quite good I thought!

I saw them, bizarrly, on a big screen in the Paradiso in Amsterdam. The venue was on two floors and I didn't realise that they were playing upstairs at the time, I just thought it was some random band on a screen while they set up the 22-20's.

I thought they sounded alright!

Very Scottish, rock with a touch of folk, but in a palatable un-proclaimers kind of way...

 

That gets me thinking, I heard a while back the Proclaimers were autistic, is that true??

 

It sounded quite plausible after listening to 'I would walk 500 miles' though I'm no doctor when it comes to diagnosing autism.

Well we missed Sam and Me, but they hardly got rave reviews off the people there. Saw Rhesus and I really want them to be good because Jim and Aaron in the band are top blokes but they just haven't got it, they sound like a run of the mill indie band and you can't see them making the grade, although the current single "Art is Dead" is pretty decent.

Art Brut came on and were fantastic once again, so much so that gertcha is going to drive to Manchester on Saturday where we can see them again. Mr Argos has very kindly put us on the guest list as well.

Although this will mean foresaking the Weston game.

Although fair play to Jim Rhesus as it's been him that has organised all these tsumami relief gigs.
