Got tickets for Mrs Zeal and I to go and see the Wonder Stuff at the Alban Arena next month - looking forward to that.

 

Unfortunately, Aaaandy is unavailable to babysit that night, so we've had to entrust Mrs Zeal's parents with looking after the littl'un.

 

Not sure why Aaaaandy couldn't do it, though I assume his child-minding services are in pretty high demand.

I saw Aaaaandy walking down Harpenden High Street the other Saturday and was just about to yell out to him and thought, nah! I won't, he might want a lift somewhere.

 

I wonder if he still owes his bro' twenty quid.

Maybe Webbo has enlisted Stockport Countys biggest fan for duties that night!

 

Not quite sure if I'm going to that yet as it clashes with Art Brut in Guildford, I asked gertcha and he said "it's got to be the Brut"

Unlike me, gertcha is very good at not saying things that he know's may lead to ridicule and maybe even bordering on bullying.

 

Apart from the Torys we think very similar.

I never got into the Wonder Stuff. Also, the pub in Guildford Art Brut are playing in is a good venue I think.

 

She was 18, actually, she'll be finishing school in half an hour or so. I might pop over the road to see if I can spot her.

 

It's a good job you don't bully me or I may not want to see you guys socially anymore.

In all seriousness, don't you two get bored of seeing the same group playing the same songs week-in, week-out?

 

I mean, what you guys do in your free time with your money is up to you, but they do say that variety is the spice of life.

Hmmmm, it's a bit odd I do understand where you're coming from but a lot of it is about the trip and going to a new place and, dare I say it, doing something else afterwards. You also get to meet people and that adds to the 300+ people that you can share a pint with in a year <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

You'd listen to a new album a few times in a few weeks, and live is obviously better.

 

And we see quite a few other bands as well, it's just Art brut are probably our current faves. Of course seeing the support will open our ears to other new bands. It can turn into a nice vicious circle

They are all normally pretty good nights out, especially the weekend gigs.
