I just don't understand it.

O.K I am prepared to say Romford brought the bench incidents on themselves and wer stupid to start the thing off.

However both times we have played Enfield Town at home in the last few months we have been accused of being dirty. First game was a little x rated at times but the tackles were flying in from both sides. On Saturday, I honestly thought the tackling was very mild.

It seems if ET get involved in a game of passion, they seem to use their position in the league to suggest it was all one way. This is utter nonsense and I am getting a little fed up of you Townies keep pointing the finger at Romford.

Well I think we have only had about six sent off in the last two and half years (I am sure some wise ass will correct me on this), which in itself and the current way that football and life in general is being sanitised, is not too bad. Cup games always bring the best/worst in all sides especially us against the Townies, because there is always that little bit of something bubbling under.

Apart from me finding any more applicable pics, we should all move on, because it is a dot on the card that something is going to happen again this week which will entail that we can repeat the dose next Saturday evening.

So yah boo sucks to you girlie!!!!

Whats that prove. Robbie Savage has never been sent off in league football (fact!).He's still a pain in the backside though.

Being Serious.I would say that Romford are no more physical than most other ESL teams.

I think the problem lie's in the fact that most Town fans have spent many many years watching top flight non-league football, and step 5 is somewhat of a culture shock.Regarding both Reffing standards and (sorry to say this) the occasional 'Yob mentality' of runs through step5 football.

The mindset definatly seems to have more in common with park football that the old semi professional approach to things that we took for granted.

Not that i'm knocking it though.it certainly makes for healthy debate, and will stand some of our younger player in good stead when/if we progress through the pyramid.

Romford like any club will use tactics and prepare for each game individually. Dirty we are not, never have been and will not be.

As per previous post, ETFC pc users look at everyone outside their little world with rose tinted glasses.

This is why you get peoples backs up.

When will it sink in???????????????

I think what gets on everybodys nerves is Enfields holier than thou attitude.

We're totaly shocked at this outlandish behaviour. Please drop the St Enfield of townie bit swaning around in your Burberry loin cloth.

Your team use's gamesmanship makes bad and dirty tackles. As does every football team thats ever walked on a football pitch.

I think some of the Romford supporters think that the people on here talk for all ETFC supporters. They certainly do not they just speak for themselves and their personal views.

Personally I like a physical game of football. Sometimes it is the best tactic. look at Man U in the first game against Arsenal.

I never look at ETFC through rose tinted glasses and if the other team tries to be physical then I would expect out team to give it back with interest.

I'm sure i'm not the only Town fan who knows that Rudi can give as good as he gets. Saying that he has been much better this season. Brad Quinn was hardly Mr Clean in previous seasons.

Football is a physical game and you dont watch non league if you want to see total football. I watch Town to be entertained and if that means by way of a physical battle then so be it.

Surely the referee is there to stop the challenges going OTT and if they dont then thats a criticism of the refs not the other team.
