Actually I couldn't give a toss either way, and I wasn;t comparing the two, I just wanted to get in a dig about England's really poor performances in friendlies cos I like the way it winds people up, like that bloke who described the shirt as 'sacred'!!! (Wasn't you was it...?)

I was not comparing the two either, i was infact saying how u can't compare them. Its just ladies football does not get enough advertisment, you only get to see 1 or 2 games a season of ladies football on televison, which is a shame. Cause unlike you are sayin some ladies football is skillfull and good to watch.

She looks alright actually. Fair play son. She probably only in the team to attract blokes though, probably don't even know the rules. Yeah, I'd give her six of the best. In all honesty I'd rather watch it if the birds were better looking, wore better kits. Wouldn't matter about the game. Wouldn't even need a ball infact. Could just run round and stuff. If they got rid of the ji jane dykes that is.

'fraid so. She was 3 months short of her 16th birthday - so the board of censors passed it ok. It was quite a controversial decision at the time. But don't forget Jenny Aggatur went the whole hog in "Walkabout" when she was barely 16.

I was actually trying to tell the 'Anon' poster that ladies football is not just about looking at the women some are very good players.

Sorry for bringing what the woment look like into it, but in our (men's) defence quite alot of women that watch mens football go to look at the men in shorts, as iv heard so many of my girl mates say before!

You're right. On the other hand, I must be classed as sexist because I wouldn't dream of going to watch women's football unless I happened to be with a bird / lady / woman who played for a team.
