True though I'm afraid. I challange any of you to find a female footballer who's even half-decent looking. I bet most of them spent their spare time wearing dungarees, desert boots and fiddling with swiss army knives.

Yes, because that's clearly a cast-iron indication of their sexual orientation... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Apologies everyone - I'll stop feeding the trolls now.

It’s a film though innit – fantasy, it’s not real Harry, they’re only actors...And Kiera Knightly could do with a decent pair of Bristol’s for starters!

All I’m saying is women’s football is crap. Poor standard, empty crowds where the only crowd noise is from squeaky voiced school children, and women with crew cuts.

It’s not sexist at all it’s stating a fact. Forget this political correctness nonsense for a minute and acknowledge that women’s football is means about as much to the average British person as kabaddi.

No it is sexist, and very sterotypical. Can i ask have you ever actually watched womens football??

'Cause if u have you would know that not all womens football is "crap" It may not be a physical as mens, which is understandable, however when i have watched England Womens Football team play i have been very impressed with the football the players, plus some of the individuals you could argue may not look out of place in mens football.

I have certainly seen england womens play better football then some of the football gnfc have played this season!

Yeah I have seen women’s football as a matter of fact. Arsenal Ladies or Arsenal Women’s or whatever they were played a match at Corinthians a few years ago – biggest waste of petrol ever, even my kids thought they were [censored], left before half time. Not as physical as men’s? You don’t say. No atmosphere, no passion, no history, no skill and no excitement. And worst of all whenever women watch or play football the only line they seem capable of screeching is ‘kick it in the goal!!!’

Stu M, as for the England team not being anything to get excited about, what planet are you on eh? Admittedly the Swedish meatball is a prize twat, and couldn’t be trusted to pick his nose let alone an England team but to criticise the England team you must be mad. Are the England team capable of drawing millions of people into pubs across the country to cheer them on the same way that the men’s side do? Do people hand flags from their cars or windows when the women’s team play international tournaments? Do they [censored]! – Hardly anyone knows and more to the point hardly anyone cares. England have played in countless exciting matches in major tournaments which have left millions glued to their television screens with excitement. If you’re as lucky as I’ve been and you have actually seen them in tournaments then you’ll know what a great experience it is. To compare women’s football to men’s is like comparing my ironing skills to my wife’s.
