That sounds like a poor excuse to me. Get a pair of crutches and a taxi and I'm sure you can manage to take Charlie somewhere lovely, seeing as you don't have to buy a rose and have the night off footie.

Personally I think Ian's excuse of being in South Africa is rather poor too. Its amazing the lengths he will go to to get out of buying me roses.

Also I've just posted on the Heybridge site asking if there is anywhere around where we can have a kick about on Saturday. Then looked at their site and in the directions it says that there are playing fields only a few hundred yards away from the ground. Feels like ages since we had a pre match kickabout, Eastleigh I would think.

It was nothing really. Just heard a crack from my foot and couldn't walk. But all getting better now, thankyou.

i gather he has been winding you up somewhat... his ribs are still a bit bruised but its his calf that has been causing most probs...think its prob just tense muscle bit still not a good idea to play on it
