Got to say, I enjoy the crack of playing Enfield Town more than any other side in ESL. Its hard to get excited about going to Burnham, Southend Manor etc when yo know that there will be no more than 30 natives there.

 

Not a bad crowd yesterday. Plenty on the pitch to wind up both sides and the prospect of renewing acquaintances next weekend. Off for a gargle now. Little bit of shouting yesterday and hopefully a little more next week.

Nah, shouldn't think so. I suppose the water incident would hardly win subtlety of the year award in the wind up stakes, but I am sorry, kicking is a red card offence no matter who it is aimed at. You have got to rise above those things. I think it is lucky that most of us have grown up(??????) because ten years ago during our first stint in the ESL, it would have all kicked off and a visit from inspector Knacker would have ensued.
