Hello, how is Michael Murphy playing this season and does anyone know where Mark Fiore is now a days?

Michael Murphy is great, As for Billy havent heard of him for quite some time, but being as he was such a god, im sure whatever he is doing, he will be doing it rather well

Not actually a Slough fan but watched a few games a couple of years ago. Last game i came and watched was a 3-3 draw with Windsor at Stag Meadow when a friend of mines son was playing for Windsor. Have always looked out for there results and wish you all the best for the future.

In my opinion Michael Murphy has been our best player this season.

Certainly one of the more undervalued. Not a personal favourite of mine, but you can't doubt the level of performance he's shown, especially this year.

although i dont think i saw him play last season, i think this year he has played well in the games i have seen (not many i know but still)

I think we look a much stronger defensive unit when Smurf 1 is involved and he is an excellent passer of the ball. Good form, playing well I would say.

Smurph (1) is like Wilko in that you notice how good a player he is and what he contributes by what's missing when he's not there. Having a fantastic season.

Bill still lives in Slough somewhere. Up to last year he was assistant player/manager under Nick Wells at Flackwell Heath [they were together at Chalfont as well before that I believe]. I think he still turns out now and again for "The Wick" ressies while they are on the look for another job. What a player for Slough in his hey day!

Michael Murphy's signing last year most go down as one of Denton's best moves since he took charge. Smurf1 has had an outstanding year and a bit and Ian's right, we really notice him when he's not playing.

We do notice when he's not playing - because we have no other defenders at the moment !! But yes he's been in great form and very consistent both this season and last.
