What do you want to do with the printer (apart from print!)

Do you want to print Photos, Fax, Copies, Occasional Colour

Do you need to print A4, A3?

Do you need to bleed the prints to A4, A3?

Do you need it to make the coffee, do the ironing?

Okay - the last 2 may be difficult, but with hundreds of printers on the market, they all do something different, and are tailored to a certain user.

For example I just paid £40 for a printer for the children, when the ink runs out, it will be almost cheaper for me to bin the printer, and buy a new one!! However this printer is no good for printing pictures that might go in a frame and hang on the wall.

So give me a bit more info, and I will point you in the right direction.

As far as mice are concerned, I run a cordless mouse - great idea, but the batteries do not last that long - so use rechargeable ones. If you go for USB, then perhaps an Internet USB keyboard might be an option, with a USB scroll button mouse, that will then plug into the keyboard. The internet keyboard, will allow you to control sound, and other webpages at the touch of a button - my one has a nice dial on it for turning the sound up and down - very useful.

Canv, I suggest you goto Special Reserve at Basildon's Festival Lesuire Park, im sure they'll have everything your looking for.

I have a ballless mouse, only £20, it's perfect for what i need, I had a cordless one before, but kept dropping it, and breaking. This one is much better. I recommend a balless one, but I guess for some needs cordless ones are better. Why not get both of them in one? You can get cordless keyboards now as well. Anyway, just thought i'd let you know. Im probably talking my usual crap though :-Þ

I use both a cordless keyboard and cordless mouse, and I would not be without them. If you have a limited deskspace, you can lose the keyboard when not typing, and you can move the mouse to wherever it is most convenient to use.

Prices have probably fallen but my logitech pair cost around 70 quid.
