of course your username tells everybody who you really are dosent it.

No, but it is pretty easy to get to know who, whatever their alias, is a true supporter of the club, whether we always agree with what they say or not. Plus it is easy to tell if they are from another club, or just asking us how we are doing. Whereas the majority of anonymous posters at the moment are obviously mischievous and sometimes malicious trouble-makers, with dubious axes to grind or chips on the shoulder to take care of.

Also, a user only forum would mean that any annoying "anons" that did register could be easily blocked from using the forums if they continued being a pain!
