All the people who go on about the club "should be looking forward" are only prepared to look to the past when a new manager is appointed.

Who cares what his history is its what happens in the next few months that counts.

Good luck L.D. I suspect that with the number of our supporters who prefer whingeing to winning you will be in for a torrid time but the majority of us will be 100% behind you.

Sometimes I think you read my mind Slarti - excellent comments as usual.

 

Of course, there's no harm in looking back to compare this appointment with that of a man with no managerial experience who actually went on to be our longest-serving manager, as Alan W wisely did earlier.
