I am not so sure we will hear anything tonight. It has not been confirmed that the club will be discussed at any meeting, and also, the deadline for the independent survey was the Friday when we all thought it was the Thursday, so we may be barking up the wrong meeting anyway.

I am also doubtful that the council could find it in their vocabulary to give a straight answer anyway.

Isn't the waiting awful though? And even harder since the club and the fans have come so close together with such a spirit.

I am doing my level best to be patient, but it is hard. However, I would rather have good news late than bad early.

Inside info + hot off the press TDC have rejected the proposals for the final time at a meeting tonite. Can't believe it as this is surely the end although not surprised. A statement from TDC will be issued am tomorrow prob on R Kent Jon Warnett show. Where do we go from here?

In that case then the council have recieved a "negative" reply from the inde surveyor and just followed it through OR they have recieved a "positive" reply and have just ignored it and gone with their plans anyway.

The club should have a copy of that report so until the "club" give out a statement about this

I will reserve judgement on any council announcement.

I'm concerned about my age, if Age Concern aren't yet! Bits may be dropping off, but I can still wield a mean hammer.

I was only grovelling because I should have not spelt out the B-word on a family forum! But then, I was never a good example to the youth of today, too much hippiness in my formative years!

(Or maybe too long in the Merchant Navy)
