Bryco Cup Draw

Slough currently don't have a ground SW19, we groundshare with Windsor. Stag Meadow isn't up to the same standard as Kingsmeadow or whatever you are calling it now, and is certainly no mecca for football. However, it is our home for the short term so we are making the most of it. Make your own mind up about the place when you visit. Please note there is limited parking and the surrounding streets fill up quickly so whenever the game is played, I advise you to arrive early.

Oh right, think I remember hearing that now from when you were in the FA Cup. Been to Windsors ground before for a pre-season freindly in AFC's first season if I remember correctly, nice area and not a bad ground - not much in the way of roof cover though. Will definatley be at the game - cheers

Whoops! Don't mention the roof. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it!

hi all dave here great draw but if there are over 1.000 supporters would safety be a problem or would they automaticly bring there stewards. and we proberbly need about 500-600 programes from the printers as 144 will surely not be sufitient for this game with the expected amount. a number of people missed the thurock programe and at least the club and super roy mearryweather appoligised for the slip up over the tannoy to the fans. we must try to check up on how many are finally being printed before hand to make sure allways only a few over or just covered the minority and on low key games obviosaly thease games are high quality such as wallsal yeading and thurock and small such as dorking and leyton. but of course you can only guess roughley but not be so far short or far to many over.

any more chats or further posts or coverage be great. anyone whant to talk on here.

cheers all

Would have preferred to have got them in the semi's as a big crowd would have been more likely, but its still a good draw.

Like a lot of people AFC Wimbledon have my respect as Franchise FC shouldn't exist, and I'd like to see what they are like. Should be an interesting game. Hope enough Dons fans travel to give it a great atmosphere.

Regardless of catering arrangements, I'm planning on attending the Bryco game, possibly with two others, and I'd be disappointed if the crowd is below 1000 personally.

If only football were that scientific, Mark. League position counts for nothing. On the basis of what you're suggesting we shouldn't have won cup games against Cheshunt, Welling, Walsall or Thurrock.

AFC can turn us over comfortably if they're on their game and we aren't or, to quote Mr Merson, if our attitude isn't right.
