What are the status of the injuries to Jimmy Strouts and to Justin Skinner ?

 

Are they likely to be fit for next Saturday, if required ?

That will certainly be required.

 

I am hoping Andy will do a manager's report this week and let us know who will be fit.

 

Last I heard Jimmy S was hopeful. Justin's knock looked serious but we will have to wait a couple of days until we know for certain.

The good news is that Justin's ankle isn't broken, but he will be out for 3 weeks.

 

Andy is looking to bring in a replacement on loan. When I have more information I will let you know.

Dave, what is the situation with Eliot regarding conference football. I presume that the reason he left Margate was because he didnt want to travel in the conference and i would say we've only kept him here because he's going to be reserve team manager. He's not even old and surely is the perfect replacement for Skins?????

I believe that he will be available to play but he only had his hernia operation a few days before the Gillingham match so there is no way he will be fit enough to play just yet.

Andy has signed 27 year old Paul Sturgess on a month's loan from Stevenage as cover for Justin.

He will not be able to play against Stevenage on Bank Holiday Monday.
