Todays Result vs Diss

Diss 1 Slough 1

Game kicked off 20 mins late.

Let in an early goal 0-1 at half time, only Hakki's effort from long range that hit the bar of note.

Winston scored with a deflected shot mid-way through the second half, after which Slough should have gone on to win.

Just about sums it up. We were bad the first half, especially at the back where there were gaps all over the place and that MUST be sorted.

Second half much better. I thought Adrian Brown did well when he came on at the back and we should have won it in the end.

Barras played 90 minutes and Gilkes also played. Zepherin was back in goal althoughI understand that Blake (Ex Gravesend) is set to sign. Also Corey Donaghue played up front and did OK. No Wilko, Daly or Ant Howard though.

Gary is doing the report, so it will be online sometime next week <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/bounceblue.gif" alt="" />

Only just got it done and online now - SORRY ALL! <img src="/forums/images/icons/blush.gif" alt="" />

It wasn't a bad game, but we weren't at the races in the first half.

The young lad - Liam Patrick - who came on in the second half alongside Adrian Brown did very well I thought and Gilkes was barking out instructions from the touchline, as were Eddie and Steve, so hopefully, we've learnt a lot from this pre-season so far.
