Gledhill misses Carlisle

According to Confguide.com, Lee Gledhill will misses our next game, Carlisle, for recieving five yellows.

Did he get booked in the KSC then? I thought suspensions came in immediately after you incurred the bookings/ sending off? (or is this the thing about 14 day timelag for 5 bookings that I seem to recall seeing something about?)

Yes, Alan - suspensions for red cards are now served immediately, while suspensions for 5/10/15 bookings still carry the old delay.

It's not quite the same, the delay is now 7 days so that his suspension begins today.

If that were the case he would have been suspended 7 days later which would have been last Saturday!

I did, and guessed Dagenham, because I didn't think the suspension counted for the cup game.

I was one of those who stayed till the bitter end at Daggers and clearly remember a fleet player being booked after their fifth goal right near the end of the game (could'nt make out who it was , could have been Gledhill as it was right up their end of the pitch). However stating this, when I looked at the Conference diary site it does not support my theory. Perhaps the FA site may reveal all?

That also means prediction league scores for Dagenham were wrong?

I spoke to Roly on Saturday, and he was of the opinion that Porter was booked, but he hadn't yet heard from the referee, so I can't tell you what the final position was.

 

Confguide uses the PA stats as do the majority of the other sites who show this information, and that has not been overly reiable this season.

You're quite right, Dave.

If memory serves, Porter was the only player to be booked at Dagenham. Definitely something for Roly to clarify, by the sounds of things.

Based on Dave's comment that the suspension starts today, and its a 7 day delay, Gleds last booking came in the KSC win at Tonbridge, so the Daggers game is irrelevant !!

If Gledhill did get booked against Tonbridge then that makes the scores for Tonbridge wrong too!

 

Can we have confirmation on both alledged bookings when possible and I'll amend the scores accordingly.

I have created an updated table on the assumption that we received 1 yellow in each game as suggested.

 

That gives us until the weekend to find out either way & then discard accordingly.
