this morning, they were up at carlise. at the ground talking to the chairman about the pitch and he was saying they will be around 10,000 people they on saturday as it the 1st game back there. and he said 3 points as well and the reporter laughted!

I liked the interview with the Carlisle carpet salesman bemoaning his lot because his stock got ruined. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bawling.gif" alt="" />

He must have struggled to keep a straight face while thinking of not only his own insurance cheque to cover his losses <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> but also the fact that everyone in Carlisle will soon be knocking on his door with their own insurance money looking to replace all their carpets. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue2.gif" alt="" />

10,000 would of course be a Conference record attendance, and while it would be an honour for us to be involved in such a record, it seems a bit unlikely to me. Of course, I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

Oh, so there could be a chance of it then. Imagine, going to Brunton Park and beating Carlisle in front of 10,000 supporters. Now that would be something to give the boys a lift. To even come away with a point would be major.
