Well that's not entirely true.....

 

There is a way - the problem is that the box has to be disconnected from your phoneline & every sky box has a 'credit limit'. The only way to reset the credit limit is to reconnect the box to the phoneline.....

 

.....at which point you'll get billed for all the PPV you hadn't paid for.

 

Ignore claims from people that it can be done.

 

Apparently Telewest's cable boxes are far easier to hack!

It can be done my sister's boyfriend gets all of his sky for free I believe.

I know for a fact that it is possible to get Sky without paying a penny. This fella in the pub I used to drink in used to install Sky systems for people and as far as I know fitted quite a few.

 

Does anyone remember the trick with Nokia phone where you entered some kind of pin, then if you made a call and turned the phone off, the call didn’t disconnect and you could still talk? Nokia caught on in the end but everyone in the pub was getting cheap calls for something like six months.

we have had the movies fo years for free, we even told them and they said, oh. and we are not connected to the phone line, my dad is a bit of a big bro watching you maniac. thts about ten years of free movies. billy bargain.

They may have taken it off to make room for ITV2 and ITV3. While the actual transponders are rented from Astra (nothing to do with Sky). The software in the boxes (EPG) is Sky owned. Hence the delay in Sky customers getting ITV3 as they were negotiating the price!

I have done it over and over and it is not working, i have no idea why..Im sure im doing it how you are sayin!
