Great performance on Saturday by the Saints, probably as good as any so far this season. The defence was superb, especially Elphick, with Bastock his usual commanding self. Everything seemed to flow in midfield, unlike at Newport and with Davis and Marwa's workrate in the centre, Bognor found no room to get anything going.

 

Liked Cornwall, very pacy. His goal from the acutest of angles was simply brilliant. He also continually took defenders away from Clarke, leaving him a lot more space to work in and result of that was plain for all to see.

Yes, I enjoyed this game tremendously. It's easy to say in hindsight, but I thought that we'd do well before the game. Smashing Hattrick - hope his head is OK, and a cracking goal from our new signing. Onwards and upwards - deffo a step in the right direction.
