What's the difference between inbetween and between? If there is, what should be used and when? And if you are wrong, I will have a point.

I would use one for moments in time & the other for describing physical items.

Do I win?

Is 'inbetween' an actual word or should that read 'in between'? And does anyone know the full version of the "'i' before 'e'" rule?

FleetFanatic. Your name is spelt wrong.

If you have a Capital "F" for "Fanatic" then it should be seperate for "Fleet".

Fleetfanatic or Fleet Fanatic. Make you mind up.

But it should actually be Fleet fanatic. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Actually.....being a name both parts should be CAPITALS.
So it should be Fleet Fanatic.
You were doing so well in your point until your last sentence.

However, being merely for forum purposes only I can have whatever I like. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

the point i was trying to make a while ago (before you all started spotting spelling mistakes!!) was that the person doing the programme also has over jobs to do - they are simply trying to help out and is NOT trained in programme editing or writing. If you are all such good spellers why dont you offer your services and ask to take it on ............

Daz, you missed 'seperate'. It should be 'separate'.

Stu, I believe 'emphasize' is the preferred United Kingdom spelling of the word. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
