Yes I agree it is difficult if you have no experience. But other clubs manage to print a programme without the [****!!****] ups we have in ours. Is this because they appoint qualified people to write and organise their product? So why dont we?

YOu have to understand that with all the changes occuring at the Fleet recently, everyone is getting involved in everything. At the end of the day - a programme witha few errors is better than no programme at all, surely!!! Stop mioaning adn start supporting - cheer on the lads

The programme hasnt got any better for last two seasons and these changes have only happened recently.

Somone needs to be solely responsible for the website and programme.

Now bugger me if the answer isnt simple.

Go to a local college or university and see if any enthusiastic student is willing to do the website and programme editing for us.

No wages , but the fact that they can put it on the CV , use it as a project/coursework thing and maybe the club could offer said student a season ticket free of charge.

The club is always on about community this and community that.

The club cant even put a simple website together. Put something back in the community and offer some work expierience to a local college.

The same could be done with the programme. How complex is is just to prove read a few items. And lets face it , its not like there is plenty in the programme. The articles are intresting though , it wouldnt surprise me if Jessica and Chris and the like , write their article and prove read it themselves which is not best practice (not having a pop Jessica or Chris , its just that I find more information and subject matter in your items then others and I havent a programme at hand to go through and grab names)

I agree, the programme has stagnated for more than a couple of years now actually, but then so has the press and public relations side of things (which has always been marginally better than crap). Students are fine (cheap)but possess no real football knowledge (time served) or media experience. What is needed is a top notch Glenn Aitken type person who can really promote the club and the area, involving local communities and businesses. Bringing in external funding and revenue from outside resources (such as The Home Office, look what Charlton Athletic have done with the Positive Futures Programme) to supplement the hard work and dedication which is going on behind the scenes which at present is just sufficent to keep the club where it is. The club needs experience, reliability (no more part timers), a full time bod is required who has been provided with clarity in the role and above all, backroom support, Glenn never had or got that. So there you go, its easy ain't it. Loads of people with those skills and abilities around Gravesend and district isn't there? NOT!!!!

Error 1. PROOF READ should be in quotes.

Error 2. Tut Tut! is an end of a sentance therefore but should have a capital B.

Error 3. knowledge of how it all should be done. This should read knowledge of how it should be done.

Error 4. ha ha ha shoul dhave a . at the end as it is end of a sentance.

1. Error 1 - You say but should have a capital B - the word there was actually Bad !

2. Error 2 - Its sentEnce NOT sentAnce

3. shoul d - needs to be should (all one word)

4. You also missed the error in Riverview Supporter's original post - proof read you mails should read proof read youR mails.

Alan 4 Anonymous 0 - if you're going to argue puerile point scoring issues.
