Remaining Fixtures

Recommended Posts

I think that, after Carlisle next week, the next 8 games will be the crucial ones which either make or break our season - Tamworth, Scarborough, Canvey, FGR, and Morecambe at home, with Farnborough, Northwich & York away. (FA Trophy fixtures may affect this of course). Would be nice to think we can win the games against Canvey, FGR and Tamworth at home, with draws in the other 2 home games, whilst gaining at least 3 draws in the away games - might be wishful thinking, but quite possible. That would leave us all but safe going into the final 4 or 5 games.

I agree. I think if the new manager can get things sorted within a few weeks we are capable of getting something from most of the remaining games. Remaining home games of:

Tamworth (winnable?)

Scarboro (Tough)

Canvey (winnable?)

Forest Green (winnable?)

Morecambe (Tough)

Burton (winnable/draw?)

Halifax (Tough)

As you can see I predicted what I think we're capable of in the remaining home games and there are some games there that we should expect to win. And who knows what might happen vs Morecambe! (Although I'd expect they'll want to take their revenge).

In the remaining away games I could see us picking up anything from 5-9 points. Of course that is counting on the fact that we'll get things sorted out between now and the end of the season.
