slough vs thurrock match thread

Takes our prize money this season up to £50,800. Add onto that our share of gate receipts (specifically from the Walsall & Yeading games) and we're doing alright!

Nice draw now against a well supported Conference club would be nice. Especially at home!

fantastic performance, a few sloppy patches when we had to defend hard but otherwise well done rebels, good pressure on the opposition all the time, maybe metcalfe getting himself booked in the first place was a bit stupid, but otherwise all good.

also yet another win against higher league opposition, proving ourselves to be tough to all comers, well done!

from my position on top of the home dugout the game looked very good!

Anybody reckon they're strikers weren't up for it? Messrs Kandol & Akurang played as if they'd got the hump, probably not helped by their centre half bawling them out on a number of occasions.

An even first half, probably shaded by them on the basis of a couple of scrambles in our six yard box, but definitely our second half.

Thurrock attacked after the goal, but their hump it and pump it tactics played into our hands.

Thought we defended great (Daly immense) and should have had 2 or 3. Chances for Spencer & Carbon (three times) might have been goals in other games.
