Just going though some CVs at work, and on one of the covering letters there is this (this is true):

"I am not good, I am not even very good - I am like Tina Turner, simply the best!"

I'm still laughing now <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> WTF!!!

Nah, can't stand Tina Turner!! She kinda reminder me of a big mopped headed chicken - that walk/strut with those high heels ... man!! I mean, if they had written:

"I am not good, I am not even very good - I am like EMF, unbelievable!"

then we might consider 'em!!

Sex Symbol Thatcher?

Even the sight of TV babe Denise Van Outen in a skimpy outfit failed to provoke as strong a reaction as the Iron Lady.

When the same test was carried out on members of the public, the Big Breakfast star was the clear winner.

The 25 politicians and peers were hooked up to an ''arousal monitor'' which measured their emotional reactions.

They were each shown a number of pictures while their fingers were placed in a metal 'thimble' to indicate how much they were sweating.

The nine images were of Lady Thatcher, Denise, a lesbian kiss, a semi-naked man and woman, a spider, a skull, a patient's eye view of an operating table, Jeremy Paxman and Tony Blair.

Some 80% of MPs and peers sweated the most when confronted with pictures of Lady Thatcher, regardless of which party they belonged to.

Only one politician was most responsive to the picture of Tony Blair.

The research was carried out by a team from the University of the West of England and at Bristol, the city's new science centre.

Dr Kathy Sykes, science consultant for at-Bristol, said: ''I was amazed that so many MPs reacted more to Maggie Thatcher than to Denise van Outen's bare flesh.

''Most people respond to the images of scantily clad men and women, so why should MPs be different?''

She added: ''Not a single MP said they were sexually aroused by Mrs Thatcher. But then I suppose it is not really the sort of thing you'd admit, is it?''
