Never on a Wednesday

Either sack the FA cup council section of the FA and bring in fans with management experience or we can look forward to the FA cup final being played on a Monday evening at Croydon FC

Football in England used to be the working mans game with the biggest and best history in football terms anywhere in the world

True the game always suffered from know nothing blazers but since the introduction of very real money those same blazers are being pushed around by the money men to such an extent that our history, our world wide recognised great traditions, and the wishes of the fans are being walked over and disposed of by men!! who have little or no regard for our game

I repeat our game

World cup is bigger than the FA Cup. I wouldn't want to risk any chance we have at winning it because of the FA Cup.

Although i'd say start the season a week early and have the cup on the saturday

When the F.A. sanctioned games to be played on Sundays, weren't there a couple of players who refused to play on Sundays on religious grounds ?

Question for David Holden, perhaps !!

Football should kick-off at 3pm on Saturdays (for clubs with floodlights).

7.30pm for midweek games.

This is the natural order of things.

To hell with TV and men in suits. They've done nothing for the game, the money all goes straight to Ferrari anyway. A "superstar's" wages for one week would come in very handy for clubs in Wrexham's position.

Clubs should have to pay a fee of at least £20,000,000 for permission to change their strip.

Directors who try to sell the ground or move to another town should be fed to lions or other suitable fierce animals. This rule is to apply retrospectively.

So there.

Totally agree, why should we be forced to change our kick off times, England one pisses me off, all the time. We had Folkestone away, kept the kick off as 3pm, there supporters had a whinge, if you want to watch <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> Engzzzzzland watch it, but don't force the rest of us, who wish to watch our non league football clubs at the right time, to change our plans.

If we change our game for Yeading, I will go to the Yeading game, go home whilst England was on and do something else, then go back down the club later.

England has much appeal as watching the premiership to me.

Each to their own, no problem with anyone watching it, just don't see why we should all have to change our plans for these pri madonas. (sorry for spelling)

i've not got a problem with over paid 'superstars' i'm not paying for them so why should i care who or how they are being played and imo can throw up some great matches ala Man Utd Arsenal. I love all that press hype and all the hoop la! Much like a Jerry Springer show in my eyes!

People complained that our game at southend manor should have been played earlier so that they could watch Town and then the England game but Manor refused as some of their players like some of ours and some supporters had jobs like posties and had to work in the morning and would not have been able to make it.

I would rather watch my club play live than be bored watching any international on TV.

If i could decide i'd have the england game at say 5.30 on bbc so every fan can see whatever they want to see without too much hassel. It home club's on that day would get increased bar takings due to the fans staying an extra hour and a half at least. Also a bit of non-league only thing with both sets of fans sitting next to each other without any threat of world war 3!

By being sensible you are now just being too silly.
