A Rebel and a Saint
if you do play him on the right it will be a waste of talent, from what i have seen with fabrice fernandes at southampton, haddow will have to come back in onto his left foot every time he wants to cross, which removes the element of surprise and wastes the pace in his game, and once defenders work that out, he will be very ineffective until he can develop his game on his right foot
A Rebel and a Saint
So has he gone???
BFR
The Unofficial Eastleigh site seem convinced he has, although that seems to be based on the local rag report which said he would be signing last for them last night. Although I'm pretty confident he will have gone, until it comes through an official rank that he has signed on the dotted line it is all based upon supposition. If we don't hear before then Eastleigh's line up against Salisbury tonight will reveal all.
Guest
As we have constantly said since Yesterday, Eastleigh continually brag they have signed people - only for it to fall through the floor - Shaun Hale being the last example......He was signed, sealed and delivered according to Eastleigh - he signed as a white the next day! I think there official sites have been very quiet this morning.......I would have thought they would have released something by now to confirm. But even so I can't imagine him starting tonight...it would be bench (A new player straight into the side without even training with his new side could be to our advantage
Don Juan DeMarcus
And we dont get a penny great! So whats our current squad size now? 15? 16 at a pinch
Martin
I reckon we have a squad of 21 with 5 of those injured or suspended for the game against Heybridge.
BFR
Yep, the squad isn't looking too healthy in terms of numbers. Hopefully none of those who play for the ressies tonight will pick up any knocks
Martin
Of the sixteen players that I reckon are available for Saturday I am counting Kassim and Lovegrove (who have yet to make an appearance - I think) and Mason and Bizzy who have limited experience. Love your signature by the way.
BFR
They were coming into my thinking as well. Having not seen Lovegrove extensively in the reserves this season my knowledge of him extends to what is written in his Abingdon profile, which says he is a left sided player. If he is available for us this week that could provide a short term solution for the weekend, either with him as as the left of the three centre backs with Smurf operating as wing-back, or vice versa. All guess work of course and I'm sure Eddie will have different ideas. I quite like my signature too
Guest
so who do you guys think will 'replace' haddow
Barry Scott
I think it will be a player, preferably with a left foot.
GarySTFC
I think it will be a dog myself. Always wanted to see Rover in the number 6 roaming round the pitch. Potential there.
Martin
Anon, I personally believe this will see us switch to a 4-4-2 with Michael Murphy at left back and Chopper filing in on the left wing. Certainly at least until Danny Steer is fit. But this may have released some funds within the playing budget so maybe we will bring in a newbie. Barry Scott
OMGLETSBRINGBACKTONYBOOTPLZ! Sorry couldn't resist a little haX0r speak there but as Martin says, a return to 4-4-2 would suit us a little better with the personnel we have at the moment

Hope you don't mind me coming on You probably may have seen today that we signed Alex on loan for 2 months from Eastleigh and he has permission to play in all cups..........don't worry we'll look after him unlike Eastleigh have. Shame they are struggling this year (NOT!!!), they cleared out james Taylor today too to Basingstoke...6 games into the season. They just buy players for the fun of it..... Anyway good luck with the rest of your season - it owuld be good to meet again in the league next season....the Conference South would be good
Radders
Heard at the reserve match on Wednesday that he may be shipped out on loan. After the obvious hope that he may return to Slough, I voiced my belief then that he would end up at Salisbury. See sometimes I am right!!! Hope he gets a better chance there than he did at Eastleigh. Good luck Al.
