A rather obvious non-answer - didn't say that he had applied. At the same time, he didn't state that he hadn't.

According to the Reporter he has, along with the other obvious ones, Hill, Pennock, and Sampson

 

in addition, the Reporter says Liam Daish has also applied.

 

There were apparently 25 iniial applicants and the Board have whittled that down to 10.

 

Kilcullen said "We've got a real mixture and there are a few surprise names in there." Theres no indication if the final 10 includes any or all of those noted above.

Apparently a small but effective typo by The Distorter, Alan. See Dave H's thread a little lower down. Should have been a "not" before "applied" re Kinnear, Hill, Pennock & Sampson!

Easy to miss threads as its so busy on here these days and, if as happens occasionally my system crashes out of IE, or I get interupted, the message board then doesnt show unread messages when you return, other than those generated between the crash/ interuption, and the original visit.

 

On the subject of the Reporter, incidentally, what a pathetic attempt at a "report" on the Kent Senior Cup game on Tuesday. All of half a dozen short lines - I know it wasnt the biggest game in the world, but they could at least have made an effort (and given that Whitebucket did a report on his site, and provides items for the Reporter anyway, surely they could have "lifted" his report (with permission of course) if nothing else?)

I was at Tonbridge as usual and ready to file a report for the Reporter but they didn't want anything as they had an interview with Andy, the Dagenham report, an interview with Brian and no space.
