Obviously Andy's not going to reveal the full details, but it is interesting to see him quoted as saying "I had to wait for a phone call the next day and I took that as a lack of confidence in me." Taking this at face value, the whole business could just be put down to a bit of a misunderstanding, which makes Andy's departure all the more frustrating.

 

Having said that, he does of course admit later on that "the last couple of months have been tiring and it was a culmination of things that led to my resignation."
