Well, to be fair to The Sun, they didn't actually use the words "better hooligans", but they did a league table based on arrests in each division!!

 

Premier

 

1. Sunderland (129)

2. Spurs (105)

3. Newcastle (103)

Gooners only come in a 14th with a paltry 46!

 

Div One

 

1. Man City (106)

3. Sheff Wed (78)

Sheff Utd 15th with 35

I believe we were both in the top three mainly due to the home dercy being an 11:30 sturday morning kick off which left the rest of the day available (last year it was 7:45 on a Tuesday in January - not much potential)

Very true - ah! those were the days!!!

 

We could've had several arrests last season actually. Think Thornsy could've been after the Hendon incident, and on both trips to Canvey the younger lads came very close.

 

Seem to recall four of them were escorted out of the ground at Bedford as well, with the promise of a night in the cells if they tried to get back in.

Well Saturday in Coventry was fun - seems as though upset at being down the bottom of last years table that the BBC decided to misbehave both outside the ground and then in Derby later on

 

Still alot of Burberry and Stone Island but as predicted there was a lot of Pringle golf jumpers (and I noticed that Costello had a very suspect pastle blue jumper on on Saturday night)
