Haven't looked at it but it can't be any worse than the Gravesend and Nothfleet web site that has thankfully closed down now!

It looks like a spotty 14yr old course work for school, when is someone going to take the time and effort to make it a decent webiste, with upto date news etc.... Just like the team come on canvey pull your socks up and at least work on being a decent conferecne team, god knows what other teams think of our website.

Well, don't want to open old wounds, but Matt, Ian and I created something that I still feel proud of. The club threw it back in our faces because they couldn't have editorial control over us. I thought that after nearly two seasons and all the money they are spending on the new website (ours was free and we never made any money out of it) they might have got it right by now.

 

Ian was kicked out of Park Lane and so went to Hornchurch. You might not like the football club, but take a look at the website he created there from scratch click here

Both Creator and Designer take pride in both the Canvey Island & Hornchurch websites. (Although I have no input as to the content of the Hornchurch website since the Summer)

on the official history of canvey on the official website the creation of said free website is mentioned as are mervs match reports ..

come on merv, give us a match report from the daggers game .. and isnt it time to have a relegation dogfight chart like the old promotion ones?

At this still early-ish stage of the season we've got 14 games to go.

 

Northwich who have two games in hand over Forest Green have 16 games to go. They currently have 19 points, meaning if they win all 16 of their remaining games they'll finish with 67 points.

 

So to be garenteed of safety we need to finish the season with 68 points or more. We've got 31, a difference of 37 meaning we can currently only afford to lose one, possibly two games now.

 

Sounds scary I know, but as the season wears on, I can't see Northwich winning all their games so this difference will reduce significantly each week as they lose more and hopefully we start winning more.
