OK you hate the tories.Dont trust them. You could be right.
But your trust in Piper and Parmenter etc is well intentioned but is it misplaced.
Who knocked the ground down without permission?
Who scrapped the reserves and youth sides?
Who signed agreement to play at Ashford?

You seem to speak for a lot of the fans who continue to stay with the club and their version of events. But your out of touch with most people in Thanet who want to see the club return and trust neither the council or the club management.

Like a lot of people i worry that things will end badly for club and fans.
But it should never have come to this. The club should have gradually rebuilt Hartsdown and then a lot of [censored] could have been avoided.

On a personal note I also think that slagging off people who don't share your view about events is going to be counter productive in the long run.

All fans past present and future will need to come together if things do go wrong.

I'm not in a position of great knowledge on this; However, I look at it this way

I like to judge people by their intentions, not their actions. The actions of Parmenter and Piper have been misguided, historically speaking, but I believe that their intentions have always been good.

The Council, however, I would rate their intentions as bad. They have been unsupportive, uncooperative and have let this whole episode drag on longer than it should have done.

In conclusion, mistakes were made, but people always make mistakes. The point is, the council should have been more supportive, more interactive, more hands on with this issue last year and put Margate fc back on the rails. They are the local council and that is what they are there for and that is what they are paid to do.

Agree with your point about Cookie. But I don't see the difference between letting Cookie have his say and someone else having theirs. All entitled to their views, paletable or not to others. In any case, none of us has all the facts anyway. Suposition, assumption and hope - guess that's what we do all have.

Well said margate fan. I think that many thanet people do agree that the council is not doing a good job. I wish things had never got to this stage but the one thing we all have got from this mess, is a club and fanbase that is united to the end. Being a local resident I think you may find that many people want rid of the derelict sight as it is.People are always interested in whats going on and often ask me.

I work in Dover and many of my colleagues follow Dover Atheletic and I know that many of there supporters are with us all the way.

Thanet's dieing of cancer. If the football club goes, its terminal and there's nothing SE of turner Contempary can do about it.

Had my say, heard all your comments.

No I am not in the know, they are my personal beliefs and I uderstand the remarks made by you all.

Can agree on some but disagree on others.

My initial "ranting" post was toward a 100% margate man,(didint say f.c though) who began all nice with his post but ended up slagging off the management. Just felt it would more helpful if all the "gate" fans united together at this time and it got to me last night. Apologies for my rudeness, that was out of order. Though with the persons comments didnt think it was actually a "gate" fan that I was being rude to. Again, however, apologies for any offence caused.

Apologies also for sometimes not listening when I should. Its the passion you see. Its also damned annoying when we have to just sit and wait and are unable to actually DO anything to help this through. E.mailing S.E with our own views and thoughts about the club however IS SOMETHING, however small it might seem to be to some people. It certainly cant make worse the situation. I believe we have to keep that pressure on. You may disagree and I accept that but for my part I am still out to try things to hopefully make them see differently. Thats just me I'm afraid. Nothing ventured nothing gained!

I note that Kentonline removed their previous reported comments from CK and have subsequently just quoted from the BBC Kent report. Fundementally, I guess it's all down to the council decision. If the man from TDC says yes, CK stays, if he says no, then ...... well, I guess we won't be in this division next year and my assumption is that will understandably not been seen as positive by CK.
