Didn't show the same form as last season. Not a lot of choice really. Quality season 03-04. Shame really.

Chris Moore did not start the season with last years form but Fleet were still in the top 6 for most of his appearances & the defence looked better with him alongside Porter or Shearer.

Its been said before that when we stopped scoring

goals in October - the defence got changed !!!?

Chris Moore should not have been allowed to leave the club. Even with his dip in form at the start, we still looked a more solid outfit, and his presence at set pieces adds someting to our forward play.

 

Hut, it had something to do with the player of the year award.

 

Its a recent Fleet tradition that whoever wins it, has to leave or get injured so that they can't win it again the following season !
