I have just sent the leader of the council a further plea to keep this club alive plus the address of the newly found "junior M.I.S.A"

How can he ever disappoint these enthusiastic lads?

Would be good i.m.o if others could if they so desired e.mailed him too with their personal pleas.

Go to link below and click on "your council" then onto "councillors" to find his e.mail address. Write him of your feelings for the club and the devastation it would cause if it were to die or be demoted.

Give your own personal messages. Cant see how it would hurt. If every-one did it just once it would have him bombarded with our thoughts.And you never know!

Im a resident too and you probably all know who I am. Ive lived locally for 18 years and I would never have a problem with the proposals. Much of my life has revolved around the football club. I remember going to see my grandad on a sunday morning cleaning up the ground after the game and washing the kit. Ive played youth football for margate and was one of the last to play on the hallowed turf at Hartsdown park for Thanet Colts in a friendly against Margate reserves.

The Old landlords (wevs) of the social club gave my brother his first ever DJ gig many years ago.

Ive explained this all in an Email and I strongly suggest we bombard Ezekiel's email with what the club means to us all. Importantly be Constructive in any comments but make him take note.

You idea is great, but again I think the council will just delete the emails plus bombarding them with emails,COULD be seen as harassment. I believe we have to be patient now and await the outcome.

Let things lie eh! Sorry, for my part I cant and wont do that. If we lift the pressure it will be all the more easier for them to say "NO". Besides I have already sent my e.mail.If its harassment then so be it.

You lot dont have to follow me, thats your perogative, but I cant let it lie. Once we drop our attacking play and go into defence mode then that really will be the end. We will be overrun. Sorry, but thats not for me or my stlye of play.

It would have been better to have others do it too as it gives more weight to the argument. If you are happy just to sit and wait then so be it!

Provided your E-Mails to The Council are'nt obscene or libellous, you can and have the right, to send as many as you like.

 

The Council is voted in by YOU, the electorate, and is supposed to serve YOU !

 

(Sorry if I'm on my soap-box, but I was, before retirement, a Local Government Officer).

 

If you don't like their response to your questions, then vote them out at the next elections.

I can assure you and everyone else that my e.mails are extremely carefully put. My own personal pleas to him to sit back and think about what he's doing before committing. Also my personal feelings for the club etc. No abuse made.

He has always said that if we wanted to we could e.mail him at anytime. Thanks for that by the way.

As for voting them out at the next election.Yes I for one will be voting against them but that will be too late to save our club, unfortunately, if the decision goes against us.
