I have questions!!!!!

Chris

Recommended Posts

1) Was it Kassim on the bench not used along with Steer?

2) Anyone know why Lovegrove was not even on the bench?

3) Was Matt Seedel's header over the line?

4) Can Veli play Tuesday because of his ban at league grounds?

5) Can't we just have one thread called websites on a Saturday and

Tuesday called websites and not a new thread something is updated

for each site? Would it not be better?

6) Why so many questions?

I believe so, although didn't catch the line up as I was on the phone.

As BFR pointed out to me earlier in the week, he actually played for Abingdon in the B&B Cup after we'd announced having signed him, so not quite sure what's gone on there.

3) Was Matt Seedel's header over the line?

Hard to say from behind the goal, and hard to say looking at the video footage I had. The players certainly appealed for it.

4) Can Veli play Tuesday because of his ban at league grounds?

Yes. He's not allowed to attend matches (i.e. on the terraces) but is allowed on the field of play.

No. It's obvious as to which site has been updated, and each site wants to generate as much coverage for itself as possible.

Cos you've got plenty of time to get ready to go to Spearmints.

hi all dave here. to put a possible long story shorter. veli can't stand with us but can be on the touchline and play providing he stays on the field or dressing room and not venture onto the terraces at the causway ground or mingle with the fans in the bar after the match or before it if we can axcess to there clubhouse which i understand may do food and other things like drinks there at the centre spot. unsure wether a free for all as only low key cup game meening entrance or no bar entrance on the night' or wycombe fans only. can anyone anounce this as if the coach gets there rather early it might be nice to go in and sample a beverage or two or go straight into the ground and get from the i belive quite expensive but reasonable food and drink since there step up in the league.

also does anyone know which turnstyles to head for and will normal leagure rules apply like tops removed from bottles and risck of bag or evon strip searches to people there not sure of. i feel if they do seach people or tell people they can't use the bar facilites could be rather harsh and will they produce a reduced programe or normal programe for this atall. anyone know thease questions. sorry fro being long winded but so much i don't know about wycombe as have not been to the stadiom for a while and a lot can change in years. take care all and see you on the coach on tuesday hopefully if all goes well.

cheers

right, i have been there before, but no idea whats going to happen for this game, my bro doubts that they would open up the away stand just for a few slough fans, he thinks they might just separate the two sets of fans in the main family stand down one side of the ground, but dont quote me on that!

when i have been before i havent seen any bag searching, and when they supply drinks they remove the bottle tops for you

i hope that helps a bit!

Blimey, Dave. I've been to something like 200 league and non league grounds in this country and I've never been strip searched!! Are you sure you're thinking of football grounds or somewhere else you've been?!!

many years ago people were searched for anything sharp things like banners knives and things like bottles. and bags were being searched at randam at some but not all conferance grounds so just wondered what the policeys are these days. some league clubs may evon determin small items that are not to be taken into grounds but don't whant to go through those kind of things as should not affect me. college items' old programe and bus and train relaited items as people may guess but feel this is just a randem thing. hopefully the things like that won'nt be in action for true fans like us and there is plenty of room for all of us fans to be together in a family and maybe treated to a carnivol atmosphere and we can unite toether evon in strict rivolrey. by the way i feel that they only check coats and bags mainly and not strip search search anless a known affender or criminol is spotted and i don't thing anybody from slough town football club are in this bracket and should not need to worrie but sometimes stewards are there to do there jobs and in the so called hi priority games or risk attached games. i don'nt think any of the above should be worrid about and feel maybe im a little nurvous about going to a big ground other than white heart lane where have not had the problem in the few games i have attended there throught the years and the odd wycombe game with a big profile apponents but had bag briefly searched until i was well known for a year or two as some of the wycombe stewards new me still maybe still do surely recognise me and some of the other slough town supporters and stewards from the conferance days and therefore there should be straight forword admittion to the revelivante part or parts of the grounds as you kindly stated and sorry to comfuse anyone with worries i have and know that we will proberbly go in the way and not get lost of get hungry or thirsty in anyway or worrie about searches as low profile. this would proberbly diferent if a big say FAC game which may never happen in the futre with nthe changes they may be drafting about crowd safety and the like.

cheers all for listening to me as if we get to the trophey final we will have to take care and be warery what to take or leave at home or on the coach and may possibly happen if we get a high profile club with strict rules like 1998 with southport in the semis but obviously that in its self is a long way away and we need to get past a dificult thurrock side first to proceade.

cheers dave programes.

no domm a bit worrid about tuesdays big match and ground and how things will turn out wether we win draw plus extra time or losse this could be a night for nurves on the big accaition and i know that i will be with a lot of slough fans mostly and as i stated elsewhere the view could be ristriceted and if we all stick together everything will be allright all for the sake of respecet and sopporting and setting the record straight and represent are true club.

cheers domm and all see most of you tuesday plus the bonus of warren (acka brighton rebel welcombed aboard if he can make the long trip evon with work comitments and here he can't make sunday due to work unless he changes his shift or has a kind boss)

Anyone want to take a stab at how many fans we'll take to Wycombe? Yes it's a game against old rivals, yes we understand they may put out first-teamers, but it's the B&B Cup on a (probably) cold Tuesday night. 50? 100? 150? I'd say no more than 100 myself.

You also forgot that Arsenal v United is on the box. When we played them at home a couple of season ago the attendance was well down on our average league gate at the time. I reckon 100 at most on Tuesday but suspect they wont have many more!
